We've done a complete overhaul with version 2.0 so it might be that your child-theme won't work as expected. Should this be the case let us know so we can guide you.
To update please follow this guide:
- Please backup your database (always best to be sure)
- Backup your current ambiance folder. Create a zip and drop it somewhere else.
- De-activate and remove your plugins. (No worries, we won't remove your data). (except contactform7, we've noticed that this also deleted your forms!)
- De-activate and remove L'ambiance. (Don't remove existing child theme's)
- Upload the new L'ambiance
- Activate the theme.
- Install and activate your plugins.
- Check the main menu option in appearance / menus.
- Your good to go.
